Installation

Download

Download the plugin from the customer portal: portal.stefanbaust.de → product "TSE Expiry Warning Plugin". The download requires a (free) customer account. Your personal license is embedded into the jar at download time, so there is no separate license file.

Installing the plugin

  1. Copy tse-expiry-warning-plugin.jar into the plugin folder of your POS installation: <CCO-Installationsordner>/POSPlugins/AP/ (CCO-Installationsordner is your CCO installation folder).
  2. Restart the POS.

That's it. Without further configuration, the defaults apply (notice from 30 days, dialog from 14 days before expiry); you can change them under Configuration.

The procedure is the same for both product lines: SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 FP21 and Cloud Edition 3.0 use the same jar and the same plugin folder.

Verifying the installation

After the restart, the plugin writes lines with the prefix [tse-expiry] to the standard log of the POS (cco_standard.log):

[tse-expiry] started (refresh every 6 h)
[tse-expiry] TSE certificate expires <Datum>

The second line (<Datum> is the expiry date) appears shortly after startup, as soon as the plugin has read the expiry date from the TSE for the first time, roughly 90 seconds after the POS starts. If no TSE is active, the line never appears; the plugin is deliberately inactive then.

Updating

To update, download the current version from the portal, replace the jar in POSPlugins/AP/, and restart the POS. The release notes are on the product page in the portal. More on this under Operations.
